About

Hello and welcome.

I live in Westmeath the very heart of Ireland with my husband and children. In the Midlands I am surrounded by an area that is rich with lakes, forests, flora, fauna, legends and lore and for me a little bit of magic. I love the area and having grown up here never moved away and continue to live and work in the area.

The area itself and indeed the whole of Ireland is the inspiration I use for my designs.

Having grown up listening to the legends, folklore and stories of the area and the rest of Ireland I wanted each of my designs to reflect that.

To tell some of those stories

โ€ฆand so Celtic Knits was born

Celtic Knits

Celtic Knits are designs to reflect the tales of Celtic lore; of the magic and wonder of Ireland, my home.

Welcome to my home.

I am so glad I found you and thank you for following my blog. I love knitting, but try to make a crochet pattern business. Don’t have much time to read, because making patterns takes a long time. Be blessed!

, I love to hook up with other Irish bloggers and crafters and thank you very much for your kind comment. I also loved your blog and those little project bags were darling and I really love how you teach the boys to sew as well, of course they have as much fun as girls. ๐Ÿ˜Š
