YOP – Year 6 week 11

This week the only project I can show you any progress on is my Pebble Socks. Both socks are now ready for heels. I love this simple texture pattern, it is enough to not be boring yet enough to keep interest.

Other than the socks I’ve been working on a secret secret project. So secret I can’t photograph it even in a squished up pile. Hence the reason for an incredibly short post today.

Some fellow designers and I are running a Back to School Round Robin on Instagram, so if any of you are interested check out the post on my Instagram feed with this picture for the details. The grand prize is to WIN ALL the patterns featured during the Round Robin.

I had one small acquisition this week of some more Eden Cottage Yarns. These are for a future design and I’m just itching to get started on it but I really must finish what is on the needles already. So for now these will sit and taunt me.

This week I hope to get the secret secret project done and off the needles so normal service can resume. My sister and her family are coming home from Perth for a holiday this week. They arrive on Saturday and I hope to do an update as normal for the next three Sundays but if I don’t you will know where I am. The last time my sister was home was four years ago so we are all very excited to get this time together.

So that leaves the list looking something like this,

A Year of Projects, The List, 2016 – 2017

Garment Rail  – min 3

  1. Herbarium – started Jul 24th

Shawl Drawer  – min 4

Sock Box  – min 6

Design Corner  – min 6

My page of current projects for this YOP year can be found here.

I love the yarn you’re using on those Pebble Socks. And a simple pattern is perfect. I think a detailed pattern would be lost in that yummy yarn. Can’t wait to see the secret project. What a tease! 🙂

  3. I love the pebble socks.

Ooooh, you rotter, what a tease. I hate secrets if I don’t know them, hahaha. (I’m not very good at waiting either).
