YOP – Year 5 week 31

YOP 5a

I missed last weeks update as I didn’t spent much of my time up dating my website, putting in a blog on it and just generally bringing it all up to date. That can be read and seen here.

Most of this week was spent sending out my newsletter “The Story” and writing up patterns, one has been sent onto my tech editor. In my group one test knit is ended with another started and on it’s way and another just opened up so it’s quite busy in a non knitting fibery kind of way and yet it’s the other side to designing.

What I have been working on this past couple of weeks other than samples of designs is the blanket. It is now into it’s fifth colour repeating section and that leaves one more repeat section and then the border so the end is in sight if not this week then the week after for sure. Here is what it looked like at the end of the fourth section.

Now the list, it looks something like this;

    I like your website, Ruth – and reading about Danu. That was inspiring as I consider future projects. And your blanket is looking terrific. Your friend is going to love it.

  3. Lucy Bowen says:

    Your blanket is coming along a treat. I’m amazed you have any time to work on it, with everything else going on! Love watching the progress of your collection.

  4. Marsha says:

    Your blanket is so cheery. It is really coming along nicely. Your designing is doing nicely also.

  5. The blanket looks great! It amazes me how much you get done crochet-wise on top of the blog, the website, the Rav group and all the design work! I wish I had your energy!

    • Ruth says:

      I’m not quite sure it’s any great energy, certainly not if you saw me on a normal Friday night but I am good at organisation and I think that helps 🙂
