YOP – Year 5 week 22

YOP 5a

This week I’ve swatched, swactched and done some more swatching. I’ve a little more tonight but that should be it for a couple of weeks. The last swatch should go on the blocking mats tomorrow and then I need to take notes and sort through and then I need to transform those swatches into something amazing!

Hopefully with the end of this current round of swatches I can get back to the sample I’ve been working on. Very little progress has been made on that this week so there is no point in photographing that. This is a new deisgn which will all going well be released early next year.

The Ghost Hunters Cloche I was going to start last week, was indeed started, worked mainly on last Sunday and finished off on Tuesday in between swatches. It was such a quick knit and a project I really enjoyed making.

I love the Ghost Hunters Cloche, Ruth. I also love your red glasses, and those big blue eyes. Oh, and I’m also lovin’ that pretty crocheted blanket of pink, white, and red squares. :^) What a fun picture!

  5. Stefanie says:

I like how your list is reasonable. The new cloche looks warm and cozy. It has great texture.

    • Ruth says:

It’s the only year it’s been reasonable from I started and after seeing what my design release time table is like, I’ll bet I still won’t get through those socks! 🙂 It is so cosy and warm, I highly recommend making it and it could easily be done in a day and it makes a great gift.
