Things that have happened this week are:
The release of my Alban Eilir Cowl pattern is now live. This pattern was inspired by a solar symbol carving I saw inside a Cairn built 3500BC near to my house. This Cairn is aligned with the Spring and Autumn Equinox and the symbol is lit up by the suns rays on those mornings. I regularly take a trip up to the Cain on the Equinoxes to see this happen.
I worked last Sunday on my Forest Moon of Endor socks and didn’t get back to them any more this week. They have one repeat of the leg pattern only. I haven’t even managed to get a photo of them, I will perhaps later today as I’m hoping to work on either those or the shawl today.
Ah yes my shawl, well I made a yarn cake with the yarn and that’s it. I had printer trouble during the week and didn’t get the pattern printed out until this weekend so I’m now only ready to get started on that. So today it’s going to be a toss-up for which of these two projects I work on. Again no photos of that.
Any knitting work that I managed to squeeze in this week and it was fairly minimal I worked on a sample of a new design I’m playing around with. That lovely Kettle yarn you all saw last week. It is working up lovely and it is a wonderful yarn to knit with. So yes again I can’t show you any pictures of that yet. I see a recurring theme here re-pictures.
I did manage to get a photo shoot done last Sunday of a design going for testing. It has been edited already so in a couple of weeks this one should be out but as of yet I can’t show you any pictures of that.
So what can I show you??
