YOP projects have been moving along slowly this week. With other claims on my time everyday this past week, squeezing in time for projects has been challenging.
What I did do is finish up the new project I was working on last week. I just haven’t had time to get in some photographs of it but hopefully this coming week I will, it most likely won’t happen before Saturday though. For now here is a sneak peek.
I blocked out my Danu gloves that I showed you last week. They fit perfectly but when not being worn they didn’t lie nice and flat showing off their design and the blocking really just helps with all of that. I would love to find some mitten blockers much like the sock blockers that you can find for sale. Has anyone seen any?
Having received some commissions in I’ve been working on those but really only in the latter part of the week and in between grabbing some moments for some ideas floating about in my head. Progress has been made but probably not as much as what should have happened. I’m hoping this week might be better for progress.
I did also do the swatch for the next shawl Banbha (ban-ba) and it’s ready to start but again the time to just hasn’t arrived.
My project page is relatively up to date and all notes so far can be read here.

Can’t wait to see Cosan!
Thank you 😊
Cosan looks gorgeous! I know what you mean about not making as much progress as you want. It’s been a great week here but just from the standpoint that I have finally decided to finish some things. My posts may get a little boring but hopefully I will make some progress. Good luck to you as you have more irons in the fire than I could even contemplate. You go girl!
You seem to be making good progress, even if busy with other things….I can’t wait to see the next shawl….and I like the colors in the sneak peek….
You know, I’ve been thinking about mitten blockers too! I wonder?!! I guess if we can’t find any I’ll just have to make some. I’ll keep you posted 🙂
Conan looks so pretty – reminds me of water ripples!
Oooh, I do like the look of that! Love your colour combination. I have never seen mitten blockers, but it sounds like something you should be able to find.
Good looking ‘sneak peak’ that!
I’m wondering if you could commission a wood carver to make some (specifically someone that makes sock blockers as they’d have more of an idea).
I like the tight stitches and how well defined the colorwork is.
