Rainbow Chevrons Blanket

For the last rainbow themed blanket in trio of blankets I was doing I opted for soft flowing ripples.

Again using white to break up the colours of the rainbow into blocks I worked out a pattern so each colour would be more in a block of colour rather than individual stripes.

I used a two white, one colour, one white, five colour, one white, one colour pattern repeat.

It was a pattern repeat that was easy to remember and quick and simple to do. It made a great TV project.

My detailed notes for it are here but in a month or two I will be doing a tutorial post running through exactly what and how I did this blanket.

I gave this blanket a yellow bobble edging to co-ordinate it with the other two rainbow blankets. I used the bobble tutorial here.

Here is a look at all three blankets before they were gifted to the set of triplets I had been making them for.
