YOP Year 3 Update

YoPBanner_zps83dd3114

This week has been a work of concentration on a few projects rather than a little on a lot of projects.

The second pattern for A Land Close By was released, you can read more about it on the blog here and it is for sale in Ravelry here.

Here is a picture.

The Rose Blanket is coming along, it might have been better to have checked the yarn I had as I realised I didn’t have enough and did have to have a last-minute order put in but it has arrived and work has now continued on the squares.

These squares are from the Jan Eaton book, run through of the pattern again is on A Land Close By here.

These are the colours I’m using.

The green I needed for the Flanders Poppies blanket was ordered with the order for the Rose Blanket so now as I near finishing the squares I can begin to join them with the green.

I haven’t gotten the chance to work on any of the other projects and I still need to update my Ravelry folder for YOP so I can have all projects listed there for the end of the yop year.

It’s coming close and work on the next list is happening, there is just so much I want to do I’ve no idea how I’m going to whittle it down into a manageable list, but then do I ever have a small manageable list? I’ve not had one in the last three years so perhaps year 4 will be the year I manage to have a small manageable list or then again perhaps not.

Looking forward to catching up with you all.

Manageable list? Not in my world. I love the colors you’ve chosen!

Manageable list is not really in my world either, I’ve been doing yop from the start and still have not managed to have a manageable list lol

Love the hats and the colours are gorgeous. My list for next year just keeps growing and growing!

  3. I can’t even imagine what a “small, manageable list” might look like to you – you always seem to have so much on the go!

Ha! A manageable list? What is that? You are the one who inspired me last year to dream big with my list…I did….and I have actually accomplished more than I thought I would. 🙂 Your shops are adorable as are your patterns. Well done you, for taking your idea of a shop, and pattern writing and making it all happen. You must be feeling very happy right now. 🙂

I hardly made a dent in my list. I had much going on with other memes.

  6. I really need to look at my list and I have an order pending for some books I want to get patterns from for the next YOP. I love your pink squares and I can’t wait to see the Flander’s blanket with the green. I love what you choose for your inspiration for your projects. Congrats on your Etsy shop too.
