Introducing Rose Burrow

Once again we take a stroll down the winding grassy path to A Land Close By.

I’ve heard a rumour that Sam’s sister Rose has settled in and is ready to meet us all.

Remember Sam, who we met last week here, had just moved to A Land Close By with Daddy, Mammy and Rose Burrow. Well Rose has indeed settled in and would like to come and say hello.

Rose is Sam’s younger sister and is a very shy quiet bunny. Her favourite pastime in the world is reading and is never without a book in her hand. She can always be found reading, in the library, under a tree, walking to school it doesn’t matter what Rose is doing she is always reading.

She has just enrolled in the local school along with Sam and is hoping to make new friends to help her settle into A Land Close By, she’s met Flora McBunny who is showing her round but she misses her old friends. Shall I tell you a secret though, I think Rose is going to make lots of friends in her new school. I’ve seen many of the young students who attend, so I don’t think we need to worry about Rose too much.

She too runs errands  in the newsroom for Daddy and Mummy Burrow but much prefers to see her parents putting together the paper so likes to be in the back rooms of the newspaper.

As you can see from Rose she loves the colour pink. With her pale pink layered top and matching darker pink skirt she makes a fashionably matched young bunny. To accessorize she adds lilac leggings and her favourite pink flowered headband.

Again this is only a mini introduction to Rose and A Land Close By but one of these days I shall tell you all a story about A Land Close By and all who inhabit it.

Rose just like Sam comes from the workings of my imagination just as her story does. I hope both Rose and I are respected enough for her pictures and story to remain here on my blog where they belong.
