WIP Wednesday

I thought at the weekend that I was going to have a lot of wip’s for showing today but since Monday I’ve finished off the two main wip’s that I had, the cushion cover and the Stormy Sky socks so I have a few fo’s for Friday !

With a few finishes done I’m able to cast on new items. So here are my wip’s,

WIP Wednesday

WIP Wednesday

We are having such a wonderfully bright morning I was able to photograph in the garden this am.

On the left is a crochet square which is destined to be a bag for Elizabeth for her birthday. This I’m making up again as I go as I have a picture in my head of what I want. I’m finding doing that so much easier with crochet !

On the right is the copper colour of Stylecraft Life in a DK yarn for Elizabeth’s Milo vest for the autumn. This seems to be an Elizabeth wip Wednesday doesn’t it ! I do have yarn for other projects for the other children though to lol.

In the centre is Friendship Bread by Darien Gee which I’m reading, I also have The Lost Wife by Alyson Richman on my kindle and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn on audio.

For todays meme I’m checking in both with Tami’s and Ginny so head over to their blogs to see all the other wonderful blogs taking part.

  1. Hi Ruth, how are you enjoying “Friendship Bread” so far? After my current book I will be finally reading “The Colour of Tea”, look forward to that ๐Ÿ™‚

I need to learn how to crochet…I mean, I kind of can but not like I could be. I also need to make a Milo Vest…..it’s now in my Year of Projects ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Happy Elizabeth day! Love the orange!

  4. Mistea says:

Your square is very pretty. Crochet is very flexible like that, allowing you to make things up from a picture. Enjoy the pretty yarns.

  5. Sarah says:

oooh, I love the orange for Elizabeth’s Milo! It is fun to knit for kids who are old enough to participate by picking their own colors or yarn. That will be a great Milo. Your crochet square is beautiful too!

  6. Kepanie says:

I love the square. It’s colors are happy and perfect.
