Stitch an Update

Stitching this week has been moving along on Rosey the piece from Little House Needleworks. I’m enjoying this piece so I left it on the frame. I’ve decided to relax some on the stitching challenges I’m doing as I’m more enjoying stitching on what I like and at the moment that is one project at a time. I have been looking at threads and colours for a new project but  I won’t start it until the desire to do so hits but more on that in a moment.

First off Rosey and where we left her last week,

Now this is what she looks like this week,

As you can see I’m just starting on Rosey herself and I am about half way down on the left hand side. I will most likely keep stitching Rosey herself but you never know!

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Debbie over at .Debbies Cross Stitch, gifted me her Singing the blues chart by Little House Needleworks. Well I’ve been toying with colour ideas and have it whittled down to two options, here they are with the chart itself,

Option 1

Option 1

Option 1 is a cream fabric with a mixture of pink, blue and with touches of brown.

Option 2

Option 2

Option 2 is a navy fabric with white, grey blue and with touches of red.

I want to add that both the Rosey and the Bluebird charts will be up for a giveaway once complete. I will be finished with them so someone else may as well enjoy them.

Ruth.

I think I’d prefer option 1, but that may be because I’m not partial to blue fabric. Love Rosey and how it’s coming on. My GD’s middle name is Rose!

You made great progress on Rosey this week Ruth. I like either one. I would go with the lighter fabric just because I have a hard time stitching on the dark fabric.
