I’ve noticed of late most of my blogs are about knitting or reading but I am still stitching, just at a slightly slower pace than previously. I find the knitting easier to take up and put down through the day and not all of my evenings are free to stitch I’ve found. Well I knew with a little one coming along this was likely to happen so I’m not overly surprised by it.
Having said all that I am enjoying the direction my blog is heading. I’m liking now that I’m blogging several days of the week on different things and I’m enjoying the amount of knitting, reading and stitching I’m getting squeezed into my week. I do have some more recipes to upload for the recipe section, I’ve been slack of late in updating but I have been baking, I’m always baking something if truth be known, so I’ll have to set out a day for that !
I have to say my joy of blogging has returned ten fold. I fell out of love with it a bit last year and I’ve been slowly getting the love of it back. I don’t get round to all the blogs I follow, I do try to comment and visit on those who always visit and comment on mine.I’ve started some challenges this year and I may pare these back some to just the basic love of each craft as I’ve been forgetting to update on some of them. This is a very roundabout way of getting back to this weeks stitching post, the scenic route if you will.
Last week I started another Kris Kringle by Prairie Schooler. This is my fourth one in this series of eight. I really like these designs.

I’m enjoying stitching this so I’m going to continue with him for another week. I love his green coat. Again he’s being stitched on 28ct cream linen and I’m using DMC threads. My aim for this piece for the week finish it if the mood strikes and start something else that takes my fancy.
