YOP Year 2 Update

This week I’ve been moseying along with projects, not finishing to much but making progress and that’s good.
I’m nearly done on the Easy Crocheted Dishcloth . It could be long done only its been left aside while I work on other things, its taking up room now though in my craft space so it should be complete this week.
Easy Crocheted Dishcloth
I’ve not done anything on my Stormy Sky socks from Thursday but progress was made from last Sunday.
Stormy Sky
What I have mainly been working on is “The Secret Project” and out of last weeks bundle of yarn I’ve been using these colours. The project is going well but I need to get a move on as I’ve only another week or so before it needs to be done and then I can show you.
The Secret Project
I have been thinking of some projects I want to work on next year and am starting to gather up yarn and see whats in my stash already. I can see from this and last years list how I’m going to change the construction of my list, anyway that’s a post for another day.
Here’s how this years list looks…

Eirin Cowl – these also have a pattern for fingerless gloves which I love also
Rhosyn Cowl – these also come with a pair of matching fingerless gloves and a headband
Pendleton Cowl – I love the colourwork in this one

I love those colours in your dishcloth Ruth! I don't think I'd want to use it :)Your secret project has me intrigued….when are you planning on having it done? I don't think I can handle the suspense! 🙂

  2. Too soon for me to think about next year; the race is on to finish what I planned for this one :)Can't wait to see the secret project? We'll see in the next week or two, right?

Great progress Ruth. I can't hardly wait for your secret project reveal.Linda

  4. Great dishcloth…I haven't made too many of those….

  5. You're doing great on your list! I love your cowl patterns. I too wanted to make some cowls and some were too long and I bought one pattern but it's rather big but it's on my list for this year. I can't wait to see your secret project and the yarn colors scream Spring! So pretty! Those socks are gorgeous! I frogged so many times this past 2 weeks…I thought I could watch t.v. but I cannot when I knit. I must really be attention deficit!I just had nothing to post..I'm sure people are sick of seeing the same old thing! LOL!Your washcloth is gorgeous. I have to go look up your pattern and yarn. I know next year I am going to have a washcloth project like you to "fill in" when I need to post something and also they make great gifts. You're in the home stretch! You go girl!

  9. Kepanie says:

How fun that you're working on a secret project! I like the coloe combo. The dishcloth is in a fun colorway. It will be a happy and sunny item in the kitchen.
