Theme-a-licious Start

I’ve been so busy from the 1st I haven’t gotten a chance to update with my start on Theme-a-licious.

Its the start of a new year and am hoping to make it all the way to the end of the year with this and not like last year which was half way and then a walk about stitching bug happened.

For January the theme is
Jardin January

The holidays were a little stressful…let’s relax in a nice garden. Work on any piece with flowers or gardens.

This fits in perfectly with my Bed or Roses Sampler by Terry Loewen that I had started just before Christmas. This project is also part of my Turtle Trot Sal.

This is where it was before Jan 1st,

This is where it is at this morning,

As I said previously this one you will have to watch to see what its about as I cannot find a clear picture of it.

The Theme-a-licious also have ornament themes to run alongside the main themes.
January’s theme is a tree or wreath.

I am hoping to get an ornament done for this and it can also be part of the ornament sal but we all know about best laid plans so for the moment I’m leaving this open and we shall see.

For details on the theme-a-licious, ornament sal and turtle trot sal just check out the pages at the top of the blog where I have given them each a page of their own.

Check back around 15th for an update post on this months theme.

Happy stitching,
Ruth.

Not up to speed, in fact haven't come across/heard of theme-a-licious before. But what a cute name. Flowers sure sound good right now, it's so cold here. I should try and get back into cross stitch, but I just don't seem to have enough time. Will be anxious to see what you make. Notice you have a new theme…template as well for your blog. Very nice. Happy day 3 of the year to you.

You are such a patient and fast cross stitcher! I love how you use this brown linen; it has such an earthy vibe than the typical white.
