I’m a day late with the update, we were busy yesterday with last minute jobs to be done, now that they are all complete we can all settle back and enjoy the coming two weeks!!
Knitting has been ticking along nicely. The Jacques Cousteau Hat that I started last week is finished. This hat pattern I just love, it makes the most wonderfully fitting beanie and is so simple I can take it up and put it down as often as I like, something which is very handy at this busy period. My head will be wonderfully warm now with this to adorn it lol. This pattern will be knit again as James wants another beanie in black and wants this pattern as he has a green one and its very comfy!

I had enough of the Stylecraft DK Life yarn left over from the above hat to cast on some fingerless mitts to go with this. I’m knitting the Susie’s Reading Mitts and will hopefully finish these up over the Christmas period.
