Stitching Catch Up

Morning Bloggers!

I realised in all my cleaning last week I forgot to update on the stitching. With the stitching bug back its lovely to feel like stitching again and most evenings I’ve been getting in an hour or two. I’ve been getting tired earlier and earlier but with just over 30 days left to go that’s understandable I suppose.

At the moment I’m full of a head cold and with medication limited to what I can take for it I’m just resting and taking hot drinks of honey and lemon. I’m hoping its not going to take to long for it go.

This is where the piece Wedding Happiness was last time I blogged about it.

Wedding Happiness – Before

After working on it here it is now,

Wedding Happiness- As it stands now

I have ordered the frame and mount for this piece and hoping I’ll have the stitching done by the time it arrives.

As it has been getting nearer and nearer to the end of the year my attention has turned to what I want to stitch next year. A crazy challenge is not feasible with a newborn but I have many pieces in their folders that I want to finish and others that I put together that I want to do before some others so for next year I’m going to work off these folders. I need to think of a title and I’m sure before January one will come to me.

Happy stitching,
Ruth.

Wheeee! You're in the homestretch now! 34 days to go!! Wow! =)I am doing the exact same thing as you. I have patterns pulled that I am going to do after Christmas. Some have the linen pulled also. It will feel so good to get to some of these lovely patterns. Take good care of yourself now. That means more rest!!♥
