Catch Up

Morning Bloggers

Again another beautiful day and I’m getting this blog post in before heading to the garden. I’ve my sights set on another flower bed.

Well as I said crafting time is reduced with most days being spent in the garden and with all going on in the home front its not been the most conducive time to stitching but its not in my personality to be down and things could always be worse…remember… “There’s noting bad that could be worse”

Hubby’s brother is not improved anything poor lad and they are spending as much time as possible with him so your prayers and thoughts are very much appreciated.
We are also on the hunt for another job and with the job market so poor at the moment in Ireland all I can hope is that it improves and we find something for one of us. I am facing the possibility that I will have to return to work if hubby can’t find work and perhaps I can but we shall cross that bridge when we come to it.
As regards the situation with his previous employers, he is now looking into where he stands with regards the harassing and the procedures or non procedures in this case carried out when he brought the complaint and there is also some matter over their breaches of legislation with regards employment and very few of his rights were adhered to.

Caoimhe this year makes her First Communion and this Thursday she makes her First Confession in preparation for that. She is all excited about the happenings over the next coming months and is wonderful to see.

On the stitching front I finished the 10 hour rotation on Sanctuary of Knowledge. I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought as I’m still just stitching black lol. I’m stitching this on 25ct magic evenweave and its 1 over 1 so tiny tiny stitches lol

Sanctuary of Knowledge – After

I’m now back to the start of the 4 projects in the rotation and have Hubby’s Hunting picture out ready to stitch.

It was my friend Tricia’s birthday on the 15th and although I had her picture done I was waiting the arrival of the remainder of her present which made me tardy in sending it to her. But off it went and it got there safely.

Lizzie Kate – Little Cups of Friendship

Tricia got exactly what it was meant to represent and I’m glad she liked it.

That’s it on the stitching front for the moment. I am hoping this week will see a return to my normal routine for stitching and I’m hoping I will be able to concentrate more on it.
Later in the week I will have a post for the dishcloth challenge and I’ll also be doing a theme a licious update and setting out new goals for next month lol I think most of this months will be on it.

Happy stitching,
Ruth
