Finish and Catch Up

Morning bloggers !

First off I have a finish *happy dance. Its the Robin Hood piece but I’ll come to that now in a moment.

I started off the week with the rotation still going, hunting, robin hood and then something of my choosing.
It seemed forever for me to clock up the 10 hours of hubby’s hunting picture but I got there and I think this weeks 10 hour rotation will finish most of it off, I have the ground and sky left is all.
Here is where it was at the start of the week.

Hunting picture – before

I then left it at the end of this week here.

Hunting picture – after

Then it was time to move onto Robin Hood for its rotation. I must say as I neared the 9 hour mark I had so little left to do I carried on, eager to see it complete and framed in time for Alan’s birthday and it is. *happy dance 😉

Robin Hood finished and framed

This is my second finish in the crazy challenge for the year and its great to be seeing them get complete. It can be a bit daunting looking at 15 envelopes holding all the projects !
This has just been framed this morning before this post, and as I’m full of a head cold again ! I’d say its pretty good.
I really love this dark frame and with the rope effect and gold edging it just sets it off lovely and I didn’t think needed a mount. Well that’s what I think lol.

I will be putting up a post tomorrow for a giveaway for this Robin Hood chart so if your interested in winning it, do check back.

That’s been the work for the week, now carrying on the rotation I will be starting Mr Darcy’s letter as the silks and fabric arrived for that during the week, then its the turn of the hunting picture and replacing Robin Hood on the rotation will be the Hogwarts Crest I’m doing for James.

Posts this week will consist of a theme a licious catch up on Wednesday and a Dishcloth post on Thursdays so you can check back then. On Wednesday I’ll also be running through this months goals and setting out March’s and giving the blog is makeover for March..hard to believe we are already near the end of February.

Happy stitching till then,

Happy cha-cha and wiggling here for your finish Ruth! I think you're right – the frame you've chosen for Robin Hood is just perfect and doesn't need anything else to it. Glad to see the hunt is almost there too – then we get to wiggle and tango again 🙂 I finished P&P and LOVED it! Can see why you've always raved about it 🙂

I am doing a little happy dance jig here for you – well done on getting Robin Hood finished and it does look so fab framed :)Great work on the hunting picture and you have done well to stick to it – the rotation is working so well for you 🙂

The rope edging picks up the trim you made on the Robin Hood, so agree with you it doesn't need a mount. Sometimes they detract from the stitches. LOVE the hunting piece, the details really look like those pictures that used to be on the front of the magaZine who's name eludes me at the moment. Thanks for swinging by and adding a comment to my Monday post, appreciate it. I added you to my blog log, so I don't need to wait til yop Sunday's to come find you…will be able to visit more often.

An amazing job! And you are making so much progress on the hunting picture. Last month I tried the goal setting – and it seems to have worked for me. Maybe I should try your rotation method too. Thank you for your inspiration.
