*GIVEAWAY*

Hello Bloggers !

Today I’m having a small giveaway in connection to my dishcloth challenge.

As part of the giveaway I have this weeks cloths which is a Trio of Dishcloths. I’ve worked them in a warm buttery yellow (picture is doing the colour no justice) and these are the main prize of the giveaway.

Giveaway-Trio of Dishcloths

The first in the set is a Waffle Pattern.

The second cloth  is a Ridge and Rib Pattern.

The third in the set is a Garter Basketweave. This picture is also the most closet to the actual colour.

These have all been knit in my Lily Sugar N Cream which is 100% cotton and I got all three cloths from the one ball with some left over.

The next part of the giveaway is for knitters or stitchers, as I know I have a mixture of both. When entering you have the option of getting either 2 balls of Debbie Bliss Cotton or else 5 skeins of DMC thread, you just decide which you want.

Choose from A the cotton or
choose B the thread

The third part is just some little extras that will be a surprise for the winner so I’m not showing you a picture of those but there is chocolate involved lol and something has to be a surprise.

Rules for entering are easy peasy..

1. Be a follower.
2. Leave a comment on this post and just state whether you want to receive the yarn or thread if your the winner..see told you it was easy lol.

Giveaway is open until Sat 25th when I will draw for a winner.

Now that we have the important giveaway out of the way I can let you all see the yarn that arrived for doing some cloths for the children in their colours that they picked out and just to warn you all these are all Harry Potter themed lol so over the next few weeks that’s what you will be seeing.

The Bamboo cotton is for the children’s cloths and the yarn at the top of the picture is for a scarf.

Reading wise is a fairly quick post. I had my first book club meeting with our local club during the week and loved it, I will be returning. For this we are reading The Missing by Tim Gautreaux. I’ve only started it and so can’t give you much info on that so that’s going to be my main read for this month.
I have moved on with Heavens Wager as well but won’t give a review on this either until I finish.

Remember YOP posts will be this Sunday and IHSW weekend is this weekend and I’m trying out a new rotation so will update stitching in a post on Monday.

Happy knitting and reading,
Ruth

I could use some giveaway love πŸ™‚ Being a knitter, I suppose the Debbie Bliss would be move lovely than the floss…….but I have a love of DMC floss like crazy. Perhaps it's from my days when I was a stitcher or from my days when I used to make friendship bracelets (the fancy kind, no less). I think I'll go with the yarn πŸ™‚

  7. Thoeria says:
