A Pirates Life Finished

Hello Bloggers…I’m doing such a happy dance at the moment.

Not only have I finished CCN’s A Pirates Life, I’ve also had time to frame it. Ruairí tells me he has the perfect spot for it just over his bed so Daddy shall be taking out the drill and putting it for him there.
This is my second finish for the year so the year is off to a great start.

This project is the first started and finished in my diary so it took me 14days from start to finish and took a total of 40hrs55mins. I stitched this on 28ct Antique Ivory and used the recommended Crescent Colours, Weeks Dye Works and DMC threads.

Ruairí, really excited to have his picture finished.

This finishes off all commitments until Alan’s birthday in March and means that for each of the 7 children’s birthdays they have gotten a stitched picture as part of their presents.

A recap of those pieces are…

Alan’s rugby players

Caoimhe’s cushion

Elizabeth’s cushion

James wizard

Dominic’s footballers

Benjamin’s cowboys

Ruairí’s pirates.

This year they are getting some stitched pieces also.

Happy stitching,
Ruth
