For the month of January the theme is Jardin January so we are picking a piece with flowers and or a garden in it, just to unwind and relax from the stress of the holiday period.

The Theme-a-licious link here will explain all for this month.

This month I chose to work on English Garden by Country Cottage Needleworks, so ok its part of my crazy challenge but hey why not combine the two challenges !
I’m using the recommended DMC threads and I can’t quite recall what colour the fabric, I know its 28ct I chose and knowing me its antique white or ivory.
This is what it will look like when finished.

After the first 15 days are over, these are being taken up by the crazy challenge, I’m hoping to work on this at the weekends for the remaining two weekends at least.
I will be back on the 15th with an update.

I’m hoping all my bloggers had a happy Christmas period and I wish you all the very best for 2012, I look forward to reading all your wonderful comments and to seeing all your work and inspiration on your blogs.

Happy New Year

Hi Ruth and Happy New Year. Thanks so much to the wonderful blog comment you left yesterday. I am looking forward to keeping up with your blog as well. Please help spread the word about my new blog. I am hoping to build a following. The launch is sometime tomorrow, most likely at night as I am traveling with family for the weekend holiday.
