Framing and WIP’s Progress.

As many of you know I’ve just recently finished a wedding sampler and was taking on the task of framing the piece myself. I managed to frame it and it was just not as bad as I was expecting it to be. I’m rather pleased with how it turned out.
I chose a silver washed frame with a double mount of cream and silver for it.

The complete piece.

I’ve gotten some more done on the Celtic wedding sampler I’ve been doing for my sister so I have an update picture of this for you.
I’m also working on a biscornu pattern which was free on To Stitch or Not To Stitch . I’m doing this in between working on the celtic wedding sampler.

Celtic Wedding Blessing Update

Biscornu Update.

Last month I completed two scissor fobs. One as part of the giveaway and one for an exchange with some friends. I used the same design but just changed around the colours in both of them and then matched some ribbon and material to them. I used a free Lizzie Kate design and some buttermilk 28 ct evenweave and DMC threads. This was my first attempt at making a scissor fob. Addictive little things and something I shall make for myself lol.

It is also TUSAL time again and this month my jar is looking quite full.

This is all my updates for the past week. Thank you for bearing with me, its been a long post. Do feel free to comment I love reading them or just take a look, whichever you prefer.

Happy stitching
