April Fool’s Folly

Heres another couple of updates on the Folly

April 3rd I started a kit called A Mantle of Love by Design Works Crafts Inc. I changed the aida to a 28ct Cashel Linen Antique Ivory.

April 4th I started a kit called I Carried You by Dimensions. This was supplied with 18 ct cream aida and as I didn’t have 36 ct evenweave I worked on it. There is a considerable difference in the fabrics but I’ve started now so I’ll finish.

I started one other project at the weekend. Its Mrs Darcy’s Sampler Hanging by The Sampler Girl. Anyone who knows me knows I love Jane Austen but especially Pride and Prejudice so this is a real treat for me to stitch. I’ve only done a little so far but I’m hooked already. I’m using 28ct Cashel Linen Antique Ivory – I love this colour and the recommended DMC threads.
