This week

This past week has really seen the Spring come in so I’ve gotten lots of jobs done in the garden. Lots more to do but a start has been made. Lawns are done and some bedding plants in to brighten up a corner of the garden. I’ve even made a start digging over a flower bed. Now to decide what to put in there lol.

When not in the garden this week I’ve been doing some more on my wedding sampler. Some shading around the ladies hand the gents and the rest of his sleeve, then its onto the personalisation. So not much lol. I do hope to get it finished this week as I’ve a Mothers Day present to do.

The wedding sampler as of last night

You remember the little bag that was stitched up last week. Well over the weekend I made it up into a hanger for my Aunt’s birthday. I’ve given it a nice pink polka dot fabric backing with some wadding for stuffing and some dark pink ribbon for a handle and pretty little pink buttons to hold it on.

The one other project this week has been a Margaret Sherry Little Kate pattern for a friends round robin.
This is the progress on it in the last week and one more day should finish it off.

Little Kate

Why Little Kate has decided to lie on her side, I’ve no idea. Everywhere else she is up the right way but you can still get an idea of her progress. Perhaps for her finished shot she will stand up ! lol

Happy Stitching
